(Difficult to pronounce? Me too! Just call me Aki)
Postdoctoral Fellow at UChicago, USA
I received my Ph.D. in Engineering at The University of Electro-Communications (the department of informatics), UEC, Japan, in 2022. My supervisor was prof. Hiroyuki Kajimoto, who leads Kajimoto-lab.
I focus on haptic interfaces that modulate human haptic sensation, including touch and proprioception, by applying mechanical/electrical/electromagnetic stimulation to the skin/muscle/tendon.
My work is supported by a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Research Fellowship.
